1.) Death panels
2.) Obama is not a citizen
3.) Obama is a secret Muslim
4.) universal health care is "tyranny"
5.) Death Panels

Those are just 5 off the top of my head. I haven't even brought up the stream of inanity that spews from Glenn Beck on a weekly basis...

Sadly, the entire idea of the "tea party" as a movement is built on astroturfed propaganda that is supported by a handful of billionaires. The original "tea party patriots" were protesting taxation without due representation. This "tea party" is just a few angry people who don't like the outcome of representative democracy.

I love the fact that they are getting involved in our political process, but it would be helpful if they would get solid understanding of the issues, the history of our country as it actually was, and what it would ,ean if they understood the idea of "voting your best interests"...

Put Vlad in some M-Frames, Hitler in some jam shorts, and I think there's some real early-nineties cross-marketing potential here:

"Radical Leaders Do the Dew!"

Come on....you can't tell me you don't want to see Obama in Hypercolor....

Are they also implying our President is a dictator? Last I checked, he does not hold absolute power. Besides, the detractors are vascillating between him being a wimp to his being a bully. Can't have it both ways.

Rich, is this poll an indication of reality? Real quick, could you give me a solid explanation of "Socialism"? Then when you've done that, can you explain to me how an elected official in a representative-electoral democracy, that took money from corporate interests to get elected, continues to promote a strongly corporatist agenda, and is actually "center-right" in orientation could ever represent a threat of socialism?

The fact that the tea party "advertises lies" is what makes this an Ad-fail. The truth about the current administration, aside from the fact that they took the job in the worst economy we've seen in 40 years, and are dealing in an over politicized environment, where everything is partisan, are behaving very similarly to the the government that was administered by the "then patron saint of conservatives" Ronald Reagan. The way that the Obama administration is prosecuting the war effort is very similar to the way that Bush jr. did. COIN and the same chief that ran Iraq under Bush, right?

Look Rich, what makes this a "fail" is the fact that it is dishonest. Misinformation in Advertising, even if it is political is a crime. Not that it would matter much to the people that believe it-

The latest poll by Democracy Corps, the firm of James Carville and Stan Greenberg . . . 55% think Obama is a socialist...
When asked about “a socialist,” 33 percent of likely voters say it describes Obama “very well,” 22 percent say “well,” 15 percent say “not too well,” and 25 percent say “not well at all.”

Your analysis should be changed to "Ad Pass"
